-
Insomnia
Insomnia can look like trouble falling asleep, waking up often during the night, or waking up too early and not being able to fall back asleep. Over time, this can leave you feeling exhausted, stressed, and stuck in a cycle of poor sleep.Chronic Nightmares
Chronic nightmares are repeated, upsetting dreams that make it hard to get restful sleep. Sometimes they’re connected to trauma, flashbacks, or triggers, and can even cause people to dread or avoid going to sleep altogether. -
Depression can feel like a heavy weight—low mood, loss of interest in things you used to enjoy, changes in sleep or appetite, and a sense of hopelessness or exhaustion that makes daily life harder.
-
Low self-esteem often shows up as feeling “not good enough,” doubting yourself, or being overly critical of your mistakes. It can make it hard to trust your own decisions, set boundaries, or feel confident in relationships, work, or daily life. Over time, this can leave you feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected from your true worth.
-
Self-harm is often used as a way to cope with overwhelming emotions or numb difficult feelings. While it may bring temporary relief, it can also create shame, secrecy, and more pain over time.
How I Help
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming. By using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR supports the nervous system in releasing stuck trauma and creating more calm, balanced responses in daily life.
-
Polyvagal-informed therapy focuses on how your nervous system responds to stress and safety. By learning to work with your body’s signals, we can gently shift out of constant fight-or-flight mode and into a state of calm connection. This helps you feel more grounded, present, and in control of your emotions.
-
CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia) is a proven approach to help reset your sleep patterns. Instead of relying on quick fixes, CBT-I looks at the thoughts, habits, and stress that keep you up at night. With simple, practical tools, it helps you fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and wake up feeling more rested.
-
ERRT (Exposure, Relaxation, and Rescripting Therapy) is a specialized approach for chronic nightmares. It helps you safely face and change the themes of your dreams while learning relaxation tools to calm your body and mind. Over time, ERRT can reduce the frequency and intensity of nightmares and improve overall sleep quality.
